Renowned
Authors & Passionate Readers
In the CHarming Community of Katonah, NY
Our mission is to celebrate books, writers, and readers. By featuring some of our most beloved authors of contemporary fiction and non-fiction, the Westchester Book Festival will enable readers to encounter ideas from multiple perspectives as well as to share common ground.
Westchester has a stunningly rich literary heritage, dating back to Founding Father of the United States, John Jay, through the memorable short stories of John Cheever. That literary tradition is flourishing today in the vibrant poets, novelists, biographers, and journalists to be introduced at our festival, including writers not just from the county, but from around the country.
2025 is our inaugural event, and we envision the festival as a feature of Westchester’s culture for many years to come.
Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Katonah Village Library, Bedford, Free Library, and Bedford Hills Library.
